Questions are frequently raised as to the notice requirements for certain meetings commonly held in condominium and homeowner associations. Below is a general chart highlighting the notice requirements and the accompanying statutory reference. As always, an attorney experienced in representing community associations should be contacted and the governing documents should be carefully analyzed and read in conjunction with the governing law (Chapter 718 of the Florida Statutes for condominiums, Chapter 720 of the Florida Statutes for homeowners associations) for a determination as to the ultimate notice that is required.
